Can't believe we're living in the land of F 452/1984/Animal Farm/Brave New World/Handmaid's Tale. When travel to Mars begins, expect Starship Troopers

Stevie Mitchell was a whirling dervish. He gets SOTG, but big honorable mention to O-Max for that clutch tip.

Goose

Stevie Mitchell is the unsung hero team of this team. He was SOTG imo and very happy for him. He did a dozen little things tonight on top of the big things. Great job by Stevie!!

Stevie - Stud
Dud of the game is whoever wasn't calling out the picks or stepping out to stop Boum but we don't hand out that award when MU wins.

Yep. I spent a good chunk of the second half yelling at Jop and others for not communicating about the screens and not stepping up. They left Stevie out to dry at least a half-dozen times. Boum did beat Stevie clean a couple times, but Stevie had to always watch for the screens.

Stevie played incredibly most of the night at both ends and is easily the SOTG.

But props to Oso for a really nice game - 14 points, 6 boards, 3 assists, only 1 TO, good D all night and those two huge swishes from the line.

Stevie then OMax for the incredible finisher!!!
Stevie by a mile.  If O-Max wasn't so bad for 38 minutes we probably wouldn't have needed the heroic tip in.

Ones for the game winning tip.

Omax for the game winning tip.

OMax was the stud of the last 5 minutes and gets full credit from me for staying with it.

With 6 steals it has to be Stevie.

Remember how we said in many of the wins we have major contributions from multiple people, making SOTG a difficult choice? Yeah, this isn't one of those. He imposed his will making that first basket and never looked back.

I remember all of two weeks ago when Scoop was suggesting that Chase take more of Stevie's minutes...

Stevie.

When he scored the first points of the night, I said to my wife, "Any offense he gives us is a bonus." Little did I know that he'd end up leading the team in scoring.

I said something very similar to my wife, along the lines of "a guy who isn't much of an offensive threat just made a nice play to open the scoring for Marquette."

I also say Stevie for SOTG.
