O-Max is playing poorly and that’s a major concern.  His best game recently was DePaul, and that was mostly stat padding when the game was decided.  He had a terrible first half that day.

If he doesn’t play better, will be very difficult to do anything of significance rest of the way.
Absence of a positive presence by O-Max was very noticeable.

teams are figuring out Omax, hate to say it and I don't care what the percentages are (haven't looked) the kid can't shoot. his only move is drive to the middle and spin. doesn't work anymore

I’m a 2 time alumni concerned with the pathetic state of a once high level basketball program.  How anyone can truly be a fan of what we’ve had to endure the past decade is beyond me.  Of course there is a high overlap between Marquette and Bear fans so you could argue that a high percentage of the fan base just doesn’t understand what success actually is.

Of course one could also say those bear fans overlap with Hawks and Bulls and Sox and cubs fans and then you'd have to acknowledge they've viewed way more success than the Pack Bucks and Brewers combined of late. We can always pick and choose statements like that to fit an agenda.

Congrats on being a 2 time alum. Was just genuinely curious if you were an actual fan or just on here to $hit talk. Seems like somewhere in between based on the Chicago slight with the two degrees and program concern mention.

If I expose you the pitchforks will be out.

How about this-
Try posting when the team actually wins a game and looks good.

Turn that mind upside down.

Lol if you expose me?   You all take this too seriously,  I’ve posted plenty when they were good but that was 10 years ago.      I also was banned for a year because you all take this too seriously.

Oso and O-Max.

We need production from at least one of them.  They were both terrible tonight.

Kolek cannot do it by himself.  It’s usually a bad thing when he leads the team in scoring because that means other guys aren’t contributing like they should.

Some people cannot face reality. Both oso and Omar are not potential NBA studs. They get worked in the paint against big front lines in BEast like UConn
They are average BEast players.
Kam also has done nothing lately
The only player that has carried the load lately is Kolek. That is not enough in BEast
Feb. Fade? We shall see. Hope Shaka can figure something out. Shake things up. Start Gold over Omax See how team responds.

If we are allowed to discuss who played well in games we win I don’t see why we can’t discuss who played poorly in games we lose.

Baylor brought their C game to MU and MU played their A game.
MU brought their C game to UConn and UConn played their A game.

This is how good teams get beat up.

No team plays their A game every game.

Only because Rocky has not sobered up after drinking himself into oblivion last night.

I think starting Gold over Omax is an interesting idea.

I love the 'we're 19-6, so let's shuffle the starting line up' posts.

I would not assume that Ben's performance, as much as I really enjoyed it, was due solely to his own efforts. I think UCONN wrote him off as not being a threat and focused on our starters. So.... disagree.
