Doris Burke was good, but to me she's past her prime.  She fawns over the stars way too much now.  ESPN should be embarrassed about showing how she went and gave Deuce Tatum a hug during a TV timeout during the Christmas Day game.  Is Tatum the only person to have a child in the NBA?  Or is he just the only one who uses his child to get more attention than he already gets?

Most of the criticism was leveled at the play by play guy in this thread. He repeatedly got names wrong, described plays wrong.

So, it is interesting that it is perfectly okay to criticize a male, but not a woman.

BTW, Doris Burke and Beth Mowins are among the best in the business. All announcers, male and female should rightfully be able to be compared to them.

Holy Card pictures need to be taken and narratives must be maintained.

Ian Eagle and Jim Spanarkel are by far the best college hoops announcing duo.  After that I think there's a lot of criticism one could shell out.

I like Ian Eagle as well. It helps that he announced 2 dramatic MU NCAA tournament wins (Davidson and butler).

Gillen is horrendous.  I also think Grant Hill is abysmal as well.  Anderson is good and Harlan has his moments.  I think most of the entire announcing roster after Eagle/Spanarkel should be completely revamped or tossed.  Doesn't matter what gender .

I am a big fan of Benetti.  He's outstanding and my apologies for neglecting to mention him here.  Fox is lucky to have him and he's clearly really good at multiple sports.
