Another weekend, another win for Nelly.  Absolutely amazing stuff out of her the moment

I like athletes that relentlessly attack with fury and slam the door.  :)

Sergio fails to qualify for the US Open.  A disastrous and Sergio-like choke 73 in the second round this afternoon doomed him to the world of alternates.  Kudos, though, for attempting to qualify unlike the best iron player of the last 20 years.

Patrick Reed WD from qualifying and will not be playing.

Sergio was odd man out in a 7 for 6 playoff.

Meh.  Scoopers, any great golf stories from you?   New destinations?   Great shots?  New clubs that really make a difference?

I moved on from my Vokey SM6's, as the grooves were wearing out.   Replaced them with Clevelands.  52 degree CBX, 56 degree RTX.   I recommend them.  CBX is very forgiving.  Point and shoot.  I can feel the soles glide through the turf compared to the SM6s.

Chicagoans, a short drive over to Harbor Shores.  Senior PGA. Probably the last time it will be held there.

Nothing exciting, but playing my first round on Saturday. I am looking forward to starting what I believe is my 55th year of playing golf.

just finished our 3 day-4 round legend challenge over the past weekend.  the best may weekend we've had since I can remember.  one team of 12 from each of the 4 clubs in a modified Ryder cup style competition.  the most fun a group of guys can have (thankfully) with their clothes on.

all 4 courses are in incredible shape with Merrill getting ready for the wsga state amateur championship in July.  the rough is becoming tougher and jack will have the greens running at no less than a 14-15 stimp...no chit  to that as he does this for most big events including ours.  I've watched them check this myself with the ole stimpmeter

of the 4 courses, bergamont, an Andy North design, public/private course I believe one can golf for around $100, is an absolute bargain.

ok reeeeeeko, yes, these are all dumps so please don't bother

How often are you doing things (whether more fun than golfing or not) with a group of guys without your clothes on?

Is this a question you really want an answer to?

Just how often.  Not what the fun is or any details.

I hope you don't pay actual money to play those dumps

I love that one Legends commercial brags about everyone 4-putting the 18th.  That's not something to brag about.  That's a bad green if that keeps happening.

The Legends are fine for people who can't get into good exclusive clubs.

Haven't played Warnimont in years.  Great beginners course for old and young alike.  Better class of people than you'd find at The Legends, too.

After latest news, I stand by my claim that the whole Scheffler thing will quietly disappear.

The cop violated the rules and lied on his report.

Whats wrong with doing donuts with an intoxicated passenger?

He who is without sin should cast the first stone.

The sad thing is that we all joke about this.

No one is even a bit surprised when cops act this way.
