I would geniunely be curious why the hell a highly touted QB wants to go to ND right now.  Its a graveyard.

The NIL money probably ain't bad.

The thing is, how did someone at NBC think “man, we gotta get Colt McCoy”? How did he pass whatever audition he went through? That broadcast was atrocious tonight, he had no energy, zero personality, and whenever Burmeister tried to tee it up for him, he would be silent for seconds and then not have an original thought.

I mean it’s not like there’s a lack of capable color analysts. If this was Jacksonville State vs Southern Miss on ESPN+, who cares how bad Colt McCoy is. But to throw him out on NBC in primetime…certainly a poor decision.

The same network who thought Jason Garrett, Drew Breese and Jac Collinsworth would be good.

Freeman is poster child for why you don’t hire the player’s choice because the hard-a$$ head coach left. He can recruit but these let downs in minor games have gotten to be pretty chronic for him.

ND still ranked despite suffering one of the biggest upset losses in college football history.

NIU at #25 - should be ranked ahead of the team they just beat on the road, though!

ND's ranking is based upon Freeman's genius, not results on the field.

To be fair, they did go on the road and beat a pretty solid A&M team.
NIU was vastly undervalued coming into that game and while it's definitely a huge upset, it's no App State over Michigan. Spread wise, it's not one of the 10 biggest upsets of the last 30 years.

I still think they should shut down the program, but I suppose reasonable minds could disagree on that.

Let's see how solid that A&M team is as the season rolls on.

Oh, I don't disagree with that. Shut down the entire university. It's a blight.
