Proudly.

Wells Fargo dropping its PGA Tour event sponsorship. The tour is not healthy.

I like the LPGA because their yardages are way closer to mine. 200 yard 7-irons? GTFO!

Agree with Tower and Goose sentiments. I can't see myself ever getting invested in LIV. Maybe the younger generation will. IDK.

The WNBA is closer to your basketball ability than the NBA. The Marquette women’s team plays at a level closer to yours than the men’s team. Which would you rather watch?

I’m 75 year’s old. My 7 iron goes 150 yards and my driver 225-30. If there was a senior women’s tour their games would be much closer to mine than Rahm’s or Rory’s. But I’d rather watch excellence, athletes capable of doing things I could never do, not even in my prime than something that more closely resembles my own game.

I watch women’s sports including some LPGA and a lot of Olympic sports. But I watch much, much more men’s sports. Tower calls that being Archie Bunker. Fair folks call it being a sports fan.

The average LPGA player is way closer to Rahm or Rory than the average male golfer is to the average LPGA player.

My favorite social media trope is some dude saying he’s a scratch golfer saying he could hang with women on the LPGA tour or some random dude saying he could hang with women’s tennis players

Absolutely true - the average male golfer sucks at golf. Elite female athletes in any sport are much closer to their male counterparts than the average guy on the street player is to them. Who’s disputed that?

pga was lazy and not proactive.  they did nothing to protect their brand while sitting on a mountain of money.  they forgot about one minor detail-the players.  without them, they are nada

Great news for Sand Valley. Watching top amateur golf in person is very enjoyable imo. We are very lucky to get these events in WI.

I’ll probably volunteer at the Mid-Am.

Sedge Valley opens in ‘24.  Supposed to be the hardest course on the property.  Par-68.  Can’t wait to get back

That one is on the Lido.  I can’t wait to see how they play it.
