One more question - did you use a caddy on all of the courses? How helpful/necessary was it?

Thanks in advance.

I took a caddy 2 out of the 5 rounds but there was always a caddy in the group because some of the guys took one every round. They were helpful, especially with the wind and them knowing the yardage to play with the wind. They also have free push carts which I used the other 3 rounds so I wasn't carrying my bag.

Overall I'd recommend taking one or at least making sure there's one in the group

Bring back FFP!!!

Did you see your boy's final attempt to qualify for the playoffs yesterday? Wow.

Wow.  Ally Ewing is obliterating this course. Up 7 at the Women's Open.

I apparently jinxed her!

This should be a fun round at the Women's Open.  Great looking course.

Vu with a dominant win.  She's the 1st American to win two majors in the same year since 2000.  She seriously dropped the hammer with a 67 and a 6 shot win.

Quite the mercurial year for her.

True.  She's #1 in the world right now.

Looks like Nick Hardy will just miss making the top 50 - so no coming home to play in Chicago. On Thursday he hit a 360 yard drive through the fairway on 18. It hit the cart path just past it and bounced out of bounds. The 2 stroke penalty that ensued will likely cost him. Bummer.

Just saw Glover mark an 8" putt and clean the ball before tapping in.

Yelling at a pro to 'pull it' in the middle of their putting stroke over a $3 bet.   Pathetic.   Homa and his caddie were right to yell at the guy that he was a ( ) clown.

Huh??  How stupid.  I assume he was dismissed from the course?

Hovland the victor.

A Sunday back 9 that is one for the history books. Hovland has looked like that "next great player" for awhile. Today he took a giant step in that direction.

28 on the back nine is crazy good. 7 birdies. I've played that course a bunch. It is very difficult.

they had that course set up like the us open.  the rough was enough to make you write bad checks
