Anyone here ever gone to the Phoenix Open?  Is it as much fun as it looks?

Its extremely fun.  And not just from a rager party on 16 perspective.  Its just a much more laid back and non-uptight take on golf.

Delighted to hear Tiger teeing it up at Rivieria .  Tough course that requires lots of different golf shots , so Tiger has a chance to do well if he can get around the course with no pain.

Haven’t heard any comments from his fellow tour members yet . Will be sure to post if any of his peers can give some insights as to how he is striking the ball.

Thanks 9-9-9. I'm sure they'll be accurate, unbiased appraisals like all the ones last year from his buddies predicting he had a great chance to win several majors.

The mrs and I have gone for the past 5 years. This year we went to wednesday pro am to beat some of the crowd as the Super Bowl is down here as well and it’s crazy. They said this year pro am was the busiest it’s ever been.  They will attract upwards of 200,000 or more per day wouldn’t doubt if today they have closer to 300k

We usually get the clubhouse tix- great seats above 18th green.  Easy to get to right as you enter the grounds, out of the crowds way, players exit off bridge right past us, your own bathrooms and spreads of food and drink makes it all more than worth the price which can range from $250-$500 or more per ticket  run into the greatest people,  have a blast every year!

Interesting day.  Struggled a bit off the tee but iron play was flawless and made a couple big putts

Nobody really made a push.  Taylor made a couple little errors he could not afford.   So Scottie was more than good enough today.

Fowler had so many chances starting in round 3. He shot 4 under with 4 penalty shots…who does that?  Then round 4 he missed multiple chance to contend with too many bogies(and a double) to counter his ace and 4 birds

Yes, that is what usually happens.    The champions' dinner honors the previous champion.
