Only if you think Marquette is going to be better in conference this year than they were last year.  They won 11 in the BE last year including a 7 game winning streak.

Newsflash for you though m, they are not getting more than 11 this year. Today is a must win.

Nope. Not a must win. Those don’t exist in November.

They very well might get more than 11 wins in conference. They could get 20!

I’d like to see kolek with another efficient three point shooting night again. He needs to be the leader that settles everything down.  He needs to be the alpha on this team for it to be a tournament team.

They have “ found a way to win” exactly 6 of the last 12 games they have played against us……which includes some of the best teams UW has  ever had.

Yeah they have just dominated the matchup……relax

Just watched their first 8 minutes against Dayton and the announcers claim they have shooting all over the floor.  Just compared one of their Freshman to Tyler Herro.  That's an All-Time dig 😂😂 well done by that guy.

I'll say a 3 point loss similar to Monday.

This is a must win already at this point in the season and the players know it.  They haven't handled pressure so far this season. I'd guess we see similar results.

I'd like to see Sean Jones get a slight uptick in minutes from his 13 in Monday at the expense of Kam if he's shooting us out of a game again tonight.

UW is playing us in Milwaukee, but it's Wisconsin. They always seem to find a way even in down years.

Yes, the Fighting Rodents always seem to find a way ... especially the 4 times in 7 years that they lost to effen Wojo-coached Marquette teams. They really found a way then -- again, 4 times in 7 years -- even though they were favored every time.

Always finding a way.

Shoot over 30% as a team challenge.

9 minutes to go, both Dayton and Wisconsin shooting 28.9% FG.

GE03 is being melodramatic as is his custom. He's not wrong that this is an important win for our tournament resume. The Big East is underperforming in non-conference play so far. If that continues, there may not be a lot of opportunities for resume padding once conference play starts up. If we don't win 2/3 of Baylor, Wisconsin, Notre Dame, it may mean having to win 13+ games in the Big East in order to get a bid. Which is doable though not a position I would want to be in. Personally I think we will beat Wisconsin and Baylor. I also think we win by double digits tonight. Watched GT against Utah and didn't see much to be scared about. Utah was practically begging them to win the game by throwing the ball away over and over again (and at least of half of this was dumb mistakes by Utah, not pressure by GT) and they couldn't get it done.

This is not doable for this team.

Nobody has beat UW this year. I think that's quite the overreaction.

I vote beat Georgia Tech 1st and worry about what's next later.  And while we're at it, let's make the computers like our performance tonight too.

The computers have liked every one of our performances so far this season except Radford and they were neutral on that one.

It is doable. I didn't say it was likely. Big East is down this year, I think we have a reasonable path to 5th place in conference this season. Not where I think we end up, but I see the way.

Also the only game this season that Marquette failed to cover.

MU wins.  We get multiple players having very good games all at once.    Kolek will have one turnover.   Kam and Jop will score.  Ben will play some and do well.   OMax will have a decent game.  8-10 points and more careful with the ball.   Sean Jones will have a good game, and Chase will play and score.

So.  We win.   Lol

You think your boy Shaka blames this whiff of a transfer on his injury as an escape goat if/when the season falls apart?
