You're obviously no stranger to the PIP

Where I live a PIP is a previously important person.

Sometimes we have to remind them about the “previously” component.

True story.  One year I told my manager that I didn't think I had a very good year, and rated myself average (3/5).  He respectfully disagreed and told me I was exceeding expectations (5/5).   Maybe expectations are lower there than here :)

Sounds like someone earned an extra Big Mac!!

So either your manager was a poor evaluator or you have no business naming the SOTG. Which is it?

1) please don't adopt Goose's habit of writing posts like letters to a long lost friend.  The "quote" is enough to understand your intention.

2) SOTG's aren't named.  They're divined.

Ain't it hilarious that all the announcers think they are being clever and original with the word-play on O-Max's name?

The guy last night also introduced our PG as "Trent Kolek."

The guy behind us kept talking about how well Oliver was playing. Took restraint to not say "who the f*** is Oliver?"
When asked how he felt about Marquette being picked to finish ninth in the Big East, Tyler Kolek only had two words:
.
"F**k 'em."

I prefer Trent Kiosk

It's sickening watching another poor shooting Marquette team. Kiosk looks the same as last year, a left handed Driver but he can't score.

Looking way ahead, does TK surpass Tony Miller in career assists? Can he hit 1,000?

If the shooters start hitting 40% from 3, he has a chance.

He started the year with a 33 assist deficit and would almost certainly have to use a fifth season. If we average 35 games per year, he'd have to average 7.16 apg for the next three years. Certainly possible, but that's a really big number that would require health and consistency. There's a reason Miller is #8 all-time in NCAA history and only five guys have hit the 1,000 mark. It's really tough.

O-Max was obvious, but when you look at his stats it's hard to believe he didn't accidentally get more than 1 rebound in the game. Not a criticism; sometimes the basketball just doesn't bounce a guy's way off the rim.
