I know it may depend on which games are won and lost but if MU were to go 20-11 (12-8) would that really be only an 8 seed?

At 12-8, I think 8 would be the high mark. I'm looking at the Big East as a 4-bid league at the moment. 8 losses means at least 2 outside the field, and likely more in the event we get some good wins. This is the drawback to a weak Big East. Unless we're neck and neck with UConn, our ceiling is probably in the 5-6 range because they league just isn't that great. Could've really used a better record than 0-3 in our games decided by 5 or fewer points.

MU is #20 in Haslam.  #3 in Big East behind UCONN(1) and Xavier(19).  Maybe the Big East isn't so down versus others?

As a reminder, Haslam is based on play by play data (transactional) so it provides more sample size than Pomeroy (aggregated).
