I think 12 - 8 is very doable....

Need to beat SH next week.

And ... I'm hoping UCONN comes in undefeated and ranked No. 1 in a few weeks.

Appreciate the updates. A couple questions: 1)  what site is this coming from; and 2) who are the three big east teams ranked ahead of us (I assume UConn and Xavier are two of them?)

They have UConn (3), Xavier (17), and Creighton (18) ahead of us.

I do not understand how so many are still this high on Creighton. I mean I get their star was out but woof those were some ugly games

I think Creighton is going to be a tough out the rest of the way. I am happy we played them when we did at home.

Definitely agree they're going to be tough the rest of the way. But I think it should take more than a few throw away games against Butler, DePaul, Seton Hall to offset 6 straight losses, many against pathetic competition, to get back to the acclaim they had earlier in the year.

I think the site is a betting site, so from that standpoint I think it makes sense to rank based on how teams will be moving forward, not how they were when their star was out

At least it isn't a 6-11 matchup, a la MU vs Washington.

Still too soon... as is Mizzou... as is Stanford. One think to look like we don't belong there Like the two UNC losses, Florida, Syracuse, South Carolina and Murray st. But man it's painful when we're already looking at the next round at the end of the game and the other team takes it away from us.

Attempting a CUSA reunion?

Ironically, it was a Mike Anderson UAB team that knocked the Wade 2003 team out of the CUSA tournament.

I was at that 2003 C-USA Tournament at Freedom Hall. Very. ugly and disappointing game with UAB.

The Greg Elliot bowl. Followed by the "sorry not sorry for taking Shaka" bowl. Fun.
