Looks like my FT observation was wrong. Too much time trying to spot Iggy.

How will our seeding be impacted by scrimmage?

If Stevie can develop a shot he's gonna be special. He's a demon on ball defender with absolutely zero fear. We learned that as he was chirping Curbello as a freshman last year. He's fun as hell to watch hound a guy.

One wonders why OMax is taking 3's.

Why I’ve never seen the NBA hype with him. Have to be able to shoot in today’s game.

Omax shot 82% from the FT last year. College Free Throw percentage is the single biggest indicator as to a future NBA players NBA three point success.

As for his other traits, finished last year as marquette best on ball defender (minus Stevies 10% of minutes). He was out with a knee injury early in the summer that kept him from going to play with Canada. Today, he probably was the only Starter on his team during a scrimmage where he had 11-8 playing below his average.

OMax is the Mope’s new poster child.  Gold in second place.

Interesting apportionment of playing time. I wonder if that means Shaka plans to play everybody the exact same number of minutes this season.

But seriously, folks ...

Wouldn’t three point percentage be the best indicator of future nba three point success ?

No, not enough volume usually.

No, there have been multiple math based studies on it because it has been something NBA circles have said for 20+ years.

https://sites.dartmouth.edu/sportsanalytics/2018/02/10/better-indicator-of-nba-success-foul-shooting-or-three-point-shooting/

It has less to do about volume as it once did, and more to do with isolates the players’ shooting stroke.
