Yea... both are owned by big conglomerates

But MillerCoors still brews in MKE.  It is kinda sickening

The Bucks owners only care about $$
... and trying to buy little Alex a
Senate seat.

Billionaire businessmen caring about money? No way.

Sad day for MKE. Too bad it couldn't be Miller, or Blatz, or Schlitz.

mileskishnish72

Good lord, late night mental lapse! Or Pabst (PBR) or Old Milwaukee.

PointWarrior

Maybe the Hauser's could write a letter and get it switched to Point Beer.

Complaining about lite beer is the close cousin of "this national play by play  announcer hates my team."
I complain about Budweiser, not beer...

I love drinking Silver Oak but sometimes the $15 grocery store red is perfect.

So you'd drink $3 Buck Chuck? The ABI rice brewed beers are crap.

Milwaukees best, hams, special export etc are on par with 3buckchuck. Stadium lite beers are perfectly fine.

I will be sure to mention this and my next opportunity to keep all of the beer snobs obscure favorites on hand to please the <1% :-)

I take it you aren't a STH?

PointWarrior

Pretty sure you will still be able to buy a beer at the local craft beer stand....

So when will Fiserv Forum become Busch Arena?

The Lens

I've been in sport business for 20 years.  I know how you "have to" partner with the non hometown company on occasion.  I also know how Miller can be cheap and not always think big picture.

That all being said this is one the deal you do don't.

No matter that this MolsonCoors vs. InBev, you don't do this deal in Milwaukee.  It's the one category where you have to take the L and move on.

Besides when you're charging $13.50 / Miller Lite you're doing ok in the category to begin with.

Really, really gross.

Agreed.  As a STH, since the FF opened I've held my nose and shelled out $13.50 for a couple High Lifes or Lites at most games.  I will not do the same for the Bud products.  I'll wait in longer lines if needed to get some other overpriced local microbrews, but not that InBev crap.
The shaka sign, sometimes known as "hang loose", is a gesture of friendly intent often associated with Hawaii and surf culture.

Warrior of Law

I'm fine with Bud if they'd be reasonable with the prices.  It takes a lot to price me out of beer at a game, but they're getting close.

Lens ...

I agree.  You just DONT do this in
Milwaukee.  I feel sorry for poor beer vendors that are making 12$ an hour ...

They will get Bitched at / complained at all year long

The Leine's Lodges are being converted into the Bud Stables.
