Awesome!  I hope in the communication of this, they bring in some of the history of Father Marquette and his work with the peace-loving tribes of the upper Midwest.
Have some patience, FFS.

Agreed, as long as it's not illustrated.  And if it is, Fr. Marquette is not pointing in any direction.  And there aren't any non-whites looking on in submissive poses.   ::)

Maybe it will teach them not to screw people in their casinos and teach Tribal Courts basic theories of Justice.

Right. Because if there is one group that has screwed people over, it's been the Native Americans.   ::) ::)

Gang, having spent more of my life than I care to remember in Northwestern Wisconsin, there is a history here. There really is.

I’ll leave it at that.

That’s probably a good idea.

Btw, I love these partnerships with two year colleges like Loyola had established. This was something had I ripped on MU in the past. So, on mission and to demographic and economic trends.

It's a really great way to create a path for students who don't want to go to a four year school right off the bat for whatever reason.  Plus the competition is doing it too.

I would say that one of the best things I have seen in higher education during the past 30 years is the proliferation of these types of agreements, making transferring just easier for everyone involved.

Or maybe they can get their land back that was stolen from them.

If everyone owns the land, then no one does. What has been done to Native Americans is one of the saddest displays of white supremacy ever. All policies have been absolutley oppressive and counter-productive. Is it too late to bring them in the fold? I hope not, but it's such a niche issue that I fear it will be
