Listening to Packers players, they sound pissed, and other than Love, who's going to stay on the company line, I heard none of them qualify their remarks that it's all on them and/ or exonerating the coaches like you hear often.

The Packers have to move on right now.  Last night was so bad, he's likely permanently damaged any belief the team may have still had in him.  Not to mention, what the hell message does it send if there's no accountability for that collapse.

He said he's meeting tonight or tomorrow with Policy.

I'm all aboard the fire lafleur train. Prolafs (?) are welcome to join.

This better be coming with the agreement to gut the coaching staff and give up play calling duties.

I really hope the extension is more show than anything and the buyout becomes much lower. I'll be upset if they start slow and fire him after four games.

If he's here, he's not giving up play calling.

But I expect:

New OC (Asst Head Coach title)
DC (if Haf is gone)
New OL coach
New DB coach
New ST everything except Punter
Game management support (ala what McVay got years ago)

And none of those coaches to come from within.

Short of that, zero confidence anything changes.

At that point just fire him if you're not going to allow him to promote from within the organization.  Continuity is just as important as the perceived quality of a coach.  Giving him one more year with those parameters would be setting up for failure.

It'll continue to be a soft team.  The fact that the same dude who concussed Love in the second Bears/Packers game this year had another helmet to helmet hit to him where he launched himself into the hit and the Packers did absolutely nothing just shows the type of team MLF has.
