I can't seem to find any real highlights of Zaide.

From last week. Weird camera angle though:

This 31 point outburst is impressive

Ty.  He may be playing against scrubs but he seems to have a smooth and under control game.  Very relaxed on his J's.  I suppose some added strength and weight couldn't hurt.

This film of Zaide is from April of 2022 at the Adidas Gauntlet in Indianapolis.

Reminds me of Kam Jones.

Recruiting sites a bit tardy in their updates on Zaide's commitment... no concern, correct?  They're just bad at their job/hobby?

Some of them will update if you send the news

Thats just because there is no dedicated Marquette writer or insider on any of the main recruiting sites, that actually covers Marquette recruiting.

Dodds doesnt count, despite what he may think.

The recruiting experts on these sites are unable to follow 150 players they have ranked during this time of year when verbal commitments are made?  Something doesn't smell right with that. Pure laziness.  Hell if they make the easy move to follow their list of recruits on Twitter or instagram they would know instantly and could update their sites if they are any good and conscientious about their "hobby/job".

Dodds counts..... by ellipses....
Luke 6:45   ...A good man produces goodness from the good in his heart; an evil man produces evil out of his store of evil.   Each man speaks from his heart's abundance...

It is better to be fearless and cheerful than cheerless and fearful.

They do seem to be getting worse at both the evaluation portion, and keeping up with stuff. Rivals, 247, on3, etc.

I just don't know how sustainable the model is anymore.

With NIL a consideration could these "experts" start getting kick backs to increase certain players rankings?

Those Marquette sites also have minimal subscribers, so Marquette doesnt make them any money.  If the Marquette premium boards on those sites were as active as most other P6 schools the national writers would pay more attention to Marquette.  Its annoying as a Marquette fan but not surprising.

What was preventing that from happening before?

Just more potential disposable income by players now if they are marketed right by their managers.

Most definitely.

This is wide open, free market economy. Follow the money always.

Luckily the games are decided on the court, for now.  There will be pressure on refs to see the high profile/paid teams do well. There already is but it will increase maybe a little, maybe a lot. This should help Big East teams.

Fairfield and Albany much more active in the dedicated writer field.  It's ok... twitter don't fib.
