100% agree. This is in line with the disappointing reality that we were supposed to be one of the pillars of the revamped BE and haven't come close to carrying our weight. Mostly optimistic but not convinced yet that better days are ahead.

I think better days are ahead but the fact that we have seemingly regressed is really frustrating.  The good news is we have a clean slate Thurs or Fri but we played poorly in the BET and in the past month.

I was so glad that Nova won after being surrounded by way over the top UCONN fans. There were thousands of Hurley's at the MSG. Seton Hall fans are no match for them. Every single foul, block, rebound,  anything and everything set them off. I neither have nor need statistics to confidently state that Storrs Connecticut has more proctologists per capita than any other locality in the country.

Actually, Snoop, a correction is needed. Storrs (and CT in general) has more people who need a proctologist than elsewhere. Proctologists are apparently in short supply in CT. That's why so many
of its residents stay a-holes.

Most disappointing is that CREIGHTON has now made the Big East Championship game 4 times.

Absolutely. McDermott is running rings around Shaka in BEast

Rings 'round da bathtub. It don't matta. Let's revisit after Shaka brings in a couple of his own recruitin' classes. He's basically working with marginal BE talent, hey?

I think Creighton should launch a few more early-clock 3s.

This game is terrible.  This is how Nova loses in the tournament.  The metrics love the offense but it's got the Virginia/Wisconsin vibe

There has been good D by both teams, for sure, but neither team can make a shot. And Creighton especially is settling for too many Js.

Gus just snapped. I think he's seen enough of this game.

He is right. Too many chucking up of shots. He said you have 7'1 guy, go to him. Next play 7'1 guy easy basket.

Again, you read my mind, Unk.

Of course, that's a short story, not War & Peace.

Someone on here said Gillespie is the weakest BE POY ever.  I disagree,  It's not about who projects to the next level, but the guy who helps his team win against collegiate competition.  I would take Gillespie on my team team any day - smart, clutch and unflappable.  He's won the award twice for a reason.  He's the captain of a high caliber, winning team.
