It's better for our resume and potential  seeding to beat Prov.  Plus, as much as I hate their fans, it could move Providence down a few seeds and hence hurt the BEast.

One thing I find bothersome is when the Big East broke off, on his show he is very adamant on how bad this was for the Big East and how much worse the conference would be.

Why would you make a guy like that your key announcer for you biggest tournament?
