It wasn't always pretty but we earned it.  I thought Stevie charged momentum with his tenacious defense and  big points.

A loss there and it was looking like a Wojo-esque not win a game the rest of the season potential.

Hey this is a big win!   For MU, Big East possibilities, NCAA, etc.   Whew

hit it right on the head...Stevie was huge.. i know others have said it but man his defense is something to watch...and Lewis finally woke up a little down the stretch...we shot pretty bad so ill take the W

I thought the biggest play of the game was when Kam got that three to the rim on a broken possession and JLew flushed down the o-rebound.   Good sense of awareness by Kam and it just fell off the hoop perfectly.

When Shaka called time out in the first half, put on the press, and MU got two quick turnovers to right the ship.   That was the biggest play.  Defense picked up and the game became a slog.

Savor the Butler win - the way they are playing, it may be the last win of this season.

FFS.

It won't be the last win of the season.

MU was able to grind out a win and did it with defense we haven't seen in the last few weeks. Sure, some of that was Butler going cold, but MU gave up 33 points in the last 32.5 minutes.

Most importantly, we should now be locked into the NCAA tournament. Great season.

Yep.  Butler was on pace for 100+ the first 8 - 10 minutes or so.

I think I have a good perspective and wasn't panicked after the last 6 games, but it was really nice to get a win
