This makes total sense, and the results match what epidemiologists and other experts in the field have been saying for a long time now.

I bought a couple of cloth masks that have little pockets in which filters can be inserted. One of my wife's friends is an infectious disease doctor, and he actually recommends them for those who find N95s to be too uncomfortable. I like that these give me a nice combination of comfort and Covid protection.

The science has changed folks!!  One way masking now good enough.  I applaud Dr. Wen for taking this position but the science hasn't changed, internal polling has changed so the public messaging/policy making is now changing.

She is sounding very libertarian in this interview which I can appreciate.

Really is incredible how just a couple weeks ago when Youngkin removed the school mask mandate in VA there were lawsuits and accusations that he was a child killer being thrown at him and now a couple weeks later we're all aligned that masks no bueno in school.

It almost like a memo was sent to blue states by the DNC or something. I certainly missed the peer reviewed studies that were published with this new data.

Too busy mourning the millions dead.   So many needlessly because they were smarter than science, tougher than the virus, and listened to quacks and grifters.

And once this over, hopefully many things will  be addressed, improved, and dealt with.  Learning nothing from all of this would be an even greater tragedy.

History doesn't teach Americans much because we pride our ignorance, so I wouldn't hold your breath.

History taught us how to battle a pandemic and we completely ignored it.
