I think you got it. We’ll see.

Yeah, there’s still a half to go, but didn’t anticipate sweating Dickinson’s shoe size.

I can’t find a clear decision yet on that shot.

Edit: And it is a 3, so hopefully someone else here tailed and made some cash.

I completely lucked into a win last night. I saw that DK was offering a promo -- make a $5 NBA single game parlay, get a $10 bonus bet. As I understood it, I was up against the deadline before the offer expired. It was late and the Nuggets/Pelicans game was the only game that hadn't started and the the promo required a pre-game bet. So, I bet on the Nuggets to cover and Jokic to have 22.5+ and 8+. The only reason I made the bet was to get my free bonus bet. Then I realized that I had already used that promo (and used the $10 bonus bet on MU to win the Natty at +6000). I was happy to wake up this morning and see the headline on ESPN: "Jokic dazzles with 26-18-15 triple-double as Nuggets snap 2-game skid." Sometimes it's better to be lucky than good.

Ok, this may be a question that will reveal how much of a gambler someone is (or isn’t as the case may be). I referred my wife and she got her $200 in bonus bets. Also, we each got a single $200 bonus bet for the referral. So, would you hedge those big bonus gets to guarantee at least $180 of real money? Or bet them separately and try to do even better.

Trick question you both will end up losing in the long run

Depending on how you define the "long run" you may very well be right. Or at least partly right...I'll lose it all. My wife won't lose any because she's not the one betting. But I suspect it will take a while and I'll enjoy it while it lasts. I went into this knowing that I'm never going to be a "real" sports better. I turned my initial free bets/promos on DK into about $160 of their money. I had less success on FD -- about $70 of their money (largely because they didn't offer the "free money" promos like, "If the Cavs score a single three -- you win"). I already cashed out the money I initially put in so I'm playing 100% with their money. It's now at $180 on DK and still $72 on FD. I generally only bet $2 at a time on single game parlays that I'm watching - three or four legs like the line and individual statistical stuff. Typically they end up between +200 and +300. That $250 is going to last quite a while at the rate I'm going. I did go crazy and make four $2 bets on NMD.

Now, with my wife's new account we are in a position with those two bonus $200 bets to hedge on a bet and guarantee another $180 -- although I'm still not completely sure I want to go that route. That's before I even touch those eight $25 bonus bets. In another two weeks I should be in a position to cash out her initial deposit and have another $250-$300 of their money to play around with. If I keep betting the way that I am betting -- which I think is fairly likely and I am enjoying it -- that $500-600 should last a loooooooong time.

I fully realize that what I've described probably sounds pretty boring to most of the people on here who bet on sports. At this point, I'm enjoying it. I'm betting almost exclusively on games that I'm going to watch anyway -- Marquette, Purdue, and the Cavs -- and it makes it a little more fun to watch ("Pass the damn ball to Kam!"; "Grab that rebound, Oso!").

I suspect I'll bet a bit on the SB today...but probalby with one or two of my wife's bonus bets since I need to use them in the next six days.

Yes, you should hedge, it’s free money at that point.

Ugh! I had MU moneyline; Kolek 1+ 3PT; Mitchell 1+ 3PT; Jones 2+ 3PT. +340

Gotta say, when I made that bet, I didn't think Kam was the leg I needed to worry about.

Yep. Nova evened things out, but was shocked by how bad Baylor looked.

Took Fulham ML today +140. It's a biased pick and Mitrovic is out, but I couldn't help myself at + odds.

Doubled down on the Fulham double chance at halftime, came out with a small win. Would have been a huge one if they'd found a second.

For tonight.....the sharps/money all seems to be on SHU. I don't hate Xavier -1.5 in a bounce back spot though.

Reason #3646 to never bet college unders, SJU fouls 3 times under 30 seconds when down 8-10.  And try to foul with 6 seconds left down 9 that the ref didn’t call.  Not that you’d ever bet an under in a SJU game, but still.

My buddy lost an under by 2 points last night because 22 points were scored in the last 90 seconds because the losing team fouled SEVEN times in 90 seconds despite never being closer than 8, never attempting a 3, and usually just trading 2s for 2 FTs in the double bonus.  22 points in a game that had scored under 120 total up until that foul spree.  It’s very much robotic American basketball culture to snap foul when down by under 15 under a minute

Feel bad for anybody who took the under for MSU-Iowa.

I had Iowa live ML and Iowa live -2.5. By far the most fortunate betting wins I’ve had in my life.

Won Bama today. Lost SLU +4. In on TXSO +3 right now.

Taking a stab at Kam Jones 3+ threes and MU to win at +175.

Perhaps blind MU optimism, but I thought Miami moneyline and Butler 25+ at +350 was higher odds than I expected. So I jumped on it.

I just checked to see what odds are out there for futures bets.

FanDuel has +2500 to win the championship and +600 for the FF.
Draft Kings has +1800 for the championship.

I grabbed those FanDuel odds. Here's hoping for a special, special year.

CBB lines have been very sharp this year. Much tighter than in years past.

Most success I’ve had this year is focusing exclusively on high possession games and stacking players from those teams.

Play 5 man flexes if you’re looking for longevity. Lower investment per bet and higher yield for wins.

It’s a grind. Be prepared to lose more than you win with that strategy, but when you hit, you hit big and it carries you for a long time.

Obviously it's no "system", but I enjoy live betting NBA games in the 2nd half when heavy favorites are losing, grab a few points, or even bet the money line.  Bucks are awesome at this lol.

Similar, betting dogcrap teams who are losing by a lot in the 4th, coaches tend to leave starters in longer, or bench players on these teams seem to try harder to crack the rotation, so grabbing 20+ points on a live bet, hopes they crack into the lead a bit.  Makes end of games pretty exciting.
