Muggsys covfefe rant really is exactly what I needed this morning.

I'm over here staring at my Nespresso machine wondering who I can con it off on as a Christmas gift so I can pick up a pour over setup.

Muggsy any recommendations on what I should go with next?

I just had a nespresso pod with froth this morning. Pretty good, but a nice pour over always wins. I'll save that for the afternoon hit. At least we can mail the pods back and they "recycle" them

I  have a Hario ceramic dripper which cost $16.  I think the newest model is the Hario 60.  Chemex is fine as well but I think ceramic retains the heat much better. 

I for the most part only drink prime-time, quality coffee Dr. V.  Usually 100% Pure Kona Peaberry or Estate because I have a close friend with a home there.  On a rare occasion I will make Turkish coffee which is quite strong and there's a bit of an art to the process.  So I have a drip maker, French Press, pour over, and a Turkish Ibrik. 

As for prime-time coffee and the best brew I actually think the pour over is  infinitesimally better than the French Press but with a caveat:  The French Press is a better value because you can steep the beans longer.  So my Kona beans when I use  a French Press basically last me twice as long as they would with a drip machine. 

You are forgiven Dr. V for your Nespresso monstrosity but get rid of that freaking thing ASAP.

This was the first game of a tough December schedule. Most of us agreed 3-3 would be a successful month. We can pretty much assume the UCLA game will be an "L". So Theoretically we still have a one game cushion.

Let's revisit Jan. 1st and see how we're all feeling

edit:  If you really want to compare them to us, at this point in the season, their defense numbers are better than MU, and their adjusted offense numbers are worse..  If you resort to percentages, we shoot 2s at a better %, they shoot 3s at a better %.  They defend 3's really well.
