Our Freshmen Trio
« on: November 18, 2021, 11:30:36 PM »
Great performances tonight.  Obviously Kam stood out but both Joplin and Mitchell made critical buckets.  Keep in mind this was their 4th collegiate game.  We have depth on this roster and some swagger.  Morsell has such a calming influence.  I absolutely love his game.

I love Kam's game, every time he shoots I feel like the ball is going in unlike Joplin and Stevie. I actually expected more from Stevie, but that really doesn't matter because we are a great team.

C'mon.  With the dozens of threads that Muggsy starts, you can't expect to put them in the proper forum with 100% accuracy.

I actually think Joplin has one of the best-looking shots on the team. Form is outstanding.

You have at least ten years left of this crap.  If you're lucky...

And once they're done with the questions, maybe you'll get to deal with somebody at the other end of the spectrum.

A few years ago, my wife and I went to our local National Marquette Day watching event and we brought her then-90-year-old dad with us. Naturally, every time Marquette did something good, there were many cheers; and when the opponent scored or our guys effed up, there were groans. About a half-hour into the game after a great play elicited cheers, he looks at me, serious as can be, and asks, "Which team is Marquette?"

Sorry, but your post about your kids made me laugh. I hope you are telling them MU is winning often tonight.

Give them cell phones.  Then they will be silent and you will not see their faces again.

The thread title and initial post leave EE out of consideration. I thought he'd be more up to speed early on but was disappointed. Kam and Joplin have nice shooting form, but Stevie seems more athletic. Emarion could be even more athletic than Stevie and I don't think he should be excluded/written off this early. Let's see how he develops. I'm hoping he becomes a player.

Lewis took his spot. I am glad for Jamal.
