Have you followed her Twitter exchanges and might the social media itself be part of the problem?

And regardless of DJ's situation, family getting into it with fans doesn't end well. We've seen it here and on other forms of social media. It's a bad look for the family, the fans, and the athletic department.

Yes..but without the suicidal issues. Probably best to try to manage your adult son's access to social media rather than fighting social media battles you can't win.

Frankly you're assuming no one on here has similar experiences.  Well my son deals with depression and I wouldn't act like she does on Twitter.   However, that's probably irrelevant because the fact that her son struggled with depression isn't an excuse for her bad behavior.

That's the thing, she goes out of her way to seek out conversations and inject herself. You don't have to follow her to end up engaged in such an exchange. She goes out of her way to find fans to go after.
