Agreed. Shaka needs to hit the ground running and get high level players in ASAP and not pull a Wojo and sign literally nobody in year 1 and claim the program needs to be torn down and completely rebuilt from scratch. This includes having some difficult conversations with some of the current members of the team. Some who may even be excited about this hire. We'll see what happens.

Depends on Shaka. The unbridled optimist in me says that Shaka doesn't try to rerecruit Sy because he needs the room for all the other playes he's bringing in!

If Shaka is able to convince Jonas Aidoo to stay and is able to convince Tamar Bates to join the fold, it will be an A+ recruiting offseason (not including the big 3 of Garcia, Carton, Lewis) no matter what else he does.
