It's truly an awful feeling and one of the reasons I posed the question panda.  These are uncharted waters as fans even with periods of misery.  I actually started reading Dante to try to keep things in perspective.

I took the optimistic view of Lewis being back and the UNC win adding some pep to our step. I have no confidence whatsoever.

I'm right now  only on the 3rd chapter and the description of the Gate of Hell and the Inferno.  Say and believe what you want but Dante was a true genius.  Poetry has always been tough for me, gotta hand it to the great ones.

Ty.  This is a very proud program and that's exactly right.   Accepting mediocrity cannot be part of the equation for this great fan base.  I think we have all been extraordinarily patient and fair but am new here so maybe some have reached a breaking point years ago.

Demoralized? C'mon man ... a number of Scoopers are dreaming of a second loss to DePaul, convinced it will lead to Wojo's firing. They have been rooting against our alma mater all season. And will again next season after he gets his extension.

True fans never root against their team, ever.  But honestly I can't fathom anyone believing one or two results will impact whether a coach is terminated.

This is fair and I agree ME.  All I'm saying is  the mindset should never be hoping to lose games or root against the team.  We have more than enough data to make a decision about the future of our program.

This to me feels most likely, though I could see Xavier going either way. Wojo is 3-0 in Wednesday BET games.
