1.   UConn's length is endless, faster, jumps better than MU's.     Actually, UConn is faster at every position.    Speed kills.
2.  Bouknight is going to the league.
3.   All of UConn's size, depth, speed, and ups up front got in Garcia's head.   And DJ's.   Garcia fought through it, which is awesome for a freshman.   DJ?   Nah.  Never had it.   
4.  All of that allows UConn to overplay like crazy on the perimeter, because who cares if you get beat?    There is another high flying 6'9 guy behind.    I remember on the other board Muggsy asking about UConn very early in the year and I pointed out they have 7 players 6'9+ listed on their roster.
5.  Wojo should have called time out at around the 9:30 mark of the first half as the game was turning.    You simply cannot have 5 minutes of uninterrupted play without DJ on the floor.   Because UConn started rolling and once they were, it really didn't matter anymore.   MU wasn't going to stop them once they were rolling.   And MU had played really solid defense the first 8 minutes.    Hedging on the high pick and rolls instead of switching, good energy on the boards.    All the flow left MU and went to UConn.   Call the damn timeout.   
6.  It was so nice to see Lewis back.   Still shouldn't shoot 3's, but such positive energy.   So little fear.    You almost forget what he brings.    Should have sat him the last minute.     
7.  Perez needs a conscience.    But at least he is aggressive. 
8.  Sanogo seems to get motivated to play against Theo.   Seems to be more energized than usual. 
9.   I wonder if Wojo knew how much that Lewis was going to have today, if he would have come up with some 3 big sets.    Play Garcia, Theo, John together.   In general, I don't like that idea.   Just spitballing, maybe it would have helped today.   
10.   Get nothing from your guards?    Yeah, not going to get it done against UConn.    DJ and Koby needed to be the good versions of themselves to get the W today.   They weren't.   Symir outscored them both.   'nuff said.
11.  But the freshman forwards, the (theoretical) future, showed themselves fearless and willing to fight through adversity. 
12.  4 star recruit Stevie Mitchell had a hell of a game.   35 for a county championship

UCONN, with Boucknight healthy, Cole shooting like that and their athletic length, might be best team in BE.  To me, Boucknight is best player in BE and I'll let Hermie do the draft thing, but he looks like a lottery pick.

Justin Lewis was probably 70%, yet the guy was tough.  One of few players who actually can handle a rebound, great hands. 

I presume Dexter has told Wojo he is transferring because even in blowouts, the guy is not seeing the court.

Zero Big Dance wins in 8 Years for a program with Top 10 attendance Nationally SMH. That reminds me it all started with officials who always nodded to Buzz started Shaking their heads to Buzz in the New BE here we are 8 years later with zero NCAA wins in 8 Years. The Program is finally partially back but we need more changes. We Are Marquette!
