1.   Theo with a career high.   And yet the offense needs to go through him?
2.  How many times did MU run a good set, get a shot at the rim, miss, and have SJU make 5 seconds later?
3.   I would love to see DJ play aggressively for 40 minutes just once.
4.   Getting nothing from the bench today.
5.   Posh is only going to get more annoying.    40 minutes of hell all by himself.
6.  I don't get those who say the team has given up.    What are you watching?   They fought like hell in the second half.
7.  All the starters in double figures.   You have your balance.
8.  Good scheme on that inbound.    Terrible execution.     Cutting Dawson, terrible pass from DJ.     Ugggh.   As soon as Theo looped and Dawson started to cut I jumped up because it was so open.    Then the pass.
9.  But to borrow from linkin park, In the end, it doesn't even matter.

I'll take the 2nd half effort for the rest of the season.  That's all I've got for this game.

20 good minutes < 40 of hell apparently

Entertaining game.  Bad finish.  On to the next game.

I would bet YouTube has some under the basket near the corner out of bounds videos.

He's not wrong.  He was wide open but the pass was awful

Waiting for the Impossible. Tower to admit that Wojo-Dukiet gots to go.
I thought you were dead. Willie lives rent free in Reekers mind.

We R Final Four

Every single unnatural carnal knowledgeing game we turn the ball over on our under basket out of bounds play.
Twice today. Killed us.

This is Wojos biggest flaw, imo. Way too reliant on the stars/starters. Thats a tough blueprint to succeed with in conference play. The announcers even talked about the focus on Markus last year potentially having a negative impact on all the other guys.

GoldenWarrior11

One game closer to a coaching change and, hopefully, roster turnover. The coaches and players, while great people and representatives of MU, just aren't skilled or talented enough to have a sustainable winning program in the Big East or compete for NCAAT appearances.

Time for a change. Good news is more and more stakeholders appear to be getting on-board.

That's not gonna happen.

Game probably not lost based on these, but huge, huge factor:

Four inbound plays under MU basket.

- Two in first half, leading to five points.  Both inbound passes direct to SJU players
- One in second half, pass to Theo, stolen immediately, good and foul.  Three points
- End of game, just terrible inbound.

So, That's eight points given up and another chance to tie/win thrown away on inbounding a basketball.

Three bench players only shot the ball once combined.

You fail to recognize that fans don't have control of the coach or the game.  We can only be fans - or not.  Nothin tower says really matters (sorry tower...)

It's just Tower's propensity to give Wojo credit for the littlest things and inability genuinely criticize the crape product he's created. We lost to DePaul and St John at home, consecutively. There's your headline. Not "nice scheme on that inbound play that ended in disaster". Grow a pair and criticize the crappy coach. We should have no allegiance to him. He's a Dookie that's done SQUAT for this University while collecting MILLIONS.

Oso is so bad he gets zero of the Lewis minutes?

Yup. Garcia wide open at the FT line with his defender shielded behind. Pass was terrible.

DegenerateDish

I've succumbed to the fact that as a team, they aren't going to the tournament. I was proud of their second half effort, these guys are busting their butts out there. The execution isn't always great (last MU inbound play as an example), but I appreciated how they fought back.

I wish my bar wasn't so low, but that's where we're at as a program right now.

GoldenWarrior11

Marquette has lost three consecutive games to sub-75 teams for the first time in 15 years.

One day closer to a change, gents. It will happen.
