i was trying to avoid turning this into a "you know what" thing, so i was hoping jesu among others would be able to find it themselves.  i hope you are right.  the masters cannot be held anywhere else.  seemingly, golf has monitored itself quite well without too much outside influence.

     i could care less what mlb, nba, nfl, or ncaa do.  those have become secondary and tertiary hobbies to follow after i've done the dishes, scrubbed the floors and cleaned the toilets

I tracked it down. It's a non-story (IMO) in that no group or individual of any influence is making this demand. Moving on.

I guess seeing a post start with the unspecified "some" brought back memories of a recent individual of questionable credibility who utilized the same form of issue introduction. My bad.

I mean since August National Golf Club owns the Masters and it's their tournament to do whatever they want with. So unless South Carolina annexes part of Georgia, the Masters is staying where Bobby Jones wanted it.

Just went for a driver fitting.   The one that I had the best numbers with would have cost me $100 per yard gained and per yard closer to the center line.    Meh.    The dispersion pattern was basically a single line, but no miracle stick.

I am replacing my irons and went for a fitting last night and the technology is amazing. I am very glad I took the time to figure out the best sticks for me. Only problem is 6-8 week delivery. Golf will keep busy until tip off for the Warriors in the Fall.
