Should be a fun head to head match up today.   Not sure who I am rooting for.    Probably won't know until I actually start watching.     Maybe Koepka shoots his 61 today and makes it really fun.

Koepka!

Looks like the Players Championship will have fans this year. 20 percent of capacity.

Putting a crater into the green might make his bank account a little lighter too.

MU golf off to a great start-

http://digital.wsga.org/wisconsin-golfer-february-2021/page/6

just announced senior open championship to be held at sentry world 2023

we golfed there a few years ago and i asked them why there hasn't been any big ones there.  he said because they weren't really set up for spectators.  i'm assuming covid will be taken care of by then so golf will become a spectator event again along with most other sports

I enjoy watching the best in the world bet their butts kicked by a 300 yard par 4.

Riviera is playing US Open firm and fast.  The very rare wind delay this afternoon.

Wind delay just putting out how deaf the Tour is.

Riv playing fast and firm, you know the wind is going to blow, water the greens down a couple stimps before the rounds start.

Jordan, DJ, Cantlay, Jaco looking to chase down Sam Burns under really tough conditions. Golf Twitter was buzzing, it was going to be a great Saturday.

Instead, you do nothing. Call a wind delay while showing cuts of people playing volleyball on the beach. Caddies laying on the bags getting some sun rays. Blimps out over LA lazily flying about.

To top it all off, your west coast, golden hour prime time golf broadcast gets shoved over to Golf Channel. Tide went out, wind went down, greens were drenched and the typical Live Under Par Dartboard returned.

I don't need wind and fast greens to do this.

What a shot by Homa on the first playoff hole.    Shot making is not dead.

I've been a fan of Max for a while now. He's just a refreshing personality in the game of golf. His podcast with Shane Bacon (Get A Grip) just provides such a great and HONEST look into the tour. Also the things he's done with the guys at No Laying Up are amazing. Got one of the best tips from watching him play is to always try and leave yourself below the hole on approach / chips vs. trying to be closer to the hole.

But I like to throw handfuls...

Why is he still driving his own car? He looked in rough shape on Sunday in his interview. This seems a lot like when he had his DUI after back surgery.

Career over. (Though I think it was over after his recent spine surgery)

Trauma surgery for compound leg fracture.
