Damn.  Tremendous 1st set though.  Shelton has really improved his backhand.  With his insane power on his serve and forehead, look out on the faster surfaces.  His 2nd serve is absolutely filthy as well.

Huge day tomorrow for USA men.  Tommy obviously has a extremely difficult challenge with Carlos.  Tiafoe has been incredible on the dirt.  I did not expect this dominance.  I believe he has only lost one service game.  My strategy would be to thwack massive serves, unload on the forehand, mix in tbe backhand slice and dropshot, attack the net when it's there.  Musetti is very strong on clay but I think Francis can frustrate him with his poppability on his shots.  Even on a slow surface.
