St. Ignatius was Spanish. The Spanish version of Ignatius is Ignacio. Marquette is trying to diversify.

They missed a big opportunity by not giving the mascot the nickname for Ignacio

Iggy the Eagle (Ignatius, founder of Jesuits)
Let this be the only proof you need that I'm always right.

In 8th grade Spanish we each had to pick a name to be called in that class. I picked Nacho.

Nachos at the ballpark where I can evenly dip each chip to the amount that I want? Perfect

Nachos at a bar where ingredients are haphazardly piled on a pile of chips so each bite is uneven and impossible to get a decent mouthful and are surely left with chips with no toppings at the end? Awful

It's like when you get a poorly made/mixed burrito and your bite is all rice or lettuce or salsa

I actually agree with you to an extent.  An order of nachos at a restaurant that does it right is great, but some places just don't do a good job of making the nachos.  I'd rather have just some tortilla chips and a quality nacho cheese to dip them in over the latter.

If you're in Chicago, Tuco & Blondie on Southport puts all the toppings on each individual chip. They call it the Holy Grail Nachos.

To be clear, the nachos I ate last night were homemade.

Here is a hint for great shredded chicken for nachos.  You know those grocery rotisserie chickens I raved about earlier?  Oftentimes the stores will debone the leftovers, package and sell them.  Just heat that sucker up with a jar of ChiChis hot and chuncky salsa, and you have perfect shredded chicken.

No more than ten minutes tops.

Iggy it is. I have a friend named Ignacio. When we were kids, his nickname was Iggy. His family is from Argentina.

I have to go with Mellow Yellow.

Donovan Leitch would appreciate that.

Iggy is fine. Don't love it, don't hate it. I was hoping for Jacques.

Iggy would be a better name for Loyola’s mascot.

Yes, but Loyola’s Iggy couldn’t hold our Iggy’s Jacques strap.
Zenyatta has a lot....a lot... of ground to make up. She gets there from here she’d be a super horse......what’s this.....Zenyatta hooked to the grandstand side....Zenyatta flying on the outside....this....is...un-belieeeeeevable!...looked impossible at the top of the stretch...
