That was a nice article.  Thanks for sharing.  I hope Dexter has a great career.  Would be an incredible story if this hype is legit.  Go MU!

Excellent read. Thanks for posting.

BCHoopster

He sure looks like the real deal in these practice situations.  See what happens when they turn on the lights.  Have to be excited about having big guards for a
change.  Looks like MU should thank D Wade on this one.  Playing with the pros everyday looks like he sure fits in, great range on jumper. and leaping ability.

I am almost always setting my expectations low, especially for redshirt players. We've all been burned many times in the past by offseason workout videos and whatnot. But I really feel like there is something special with Dex. And if there is, look out BE, because that back court with Carton is going to be nasty.

None of this makes any sense.

How does me noting that a recruit who was ranked #365 by 247, red-shirted and never received any glowing practice reviews is now suddenly being compared to Dwyane Wade make me a boomer?

I think he thought you were referring to the "hip" wording of the article.

And yes, me saying "hip" like that makes it obvious that I'm a Boomer.

As to your point, stuff like that happens  fairly often in college basketball. Every year or two, there are a few unheralded players who turn into Ja Morant or Frank Kaminsky or Davante Gardner.

Thanks for the post. Hoping, hoping, hoping.

My favorite quote: "He'd spill every ounce of blood in his opponent's body...to prove he is a warrior."

If Dex lives up to half the hype I'll be well-satisfied.

Elonsmusk

Sounds like we are in for real treat with Dex.  Late bloomer, with all the intangibles needed to succeed.  Kid sounds like an absolute winner, and will be a great leader for the team.

Considering the writer compared having a mad convo with Dexter's mom to meeting NELSON MANDELA, maybe he's prone to a bit of hyperbole?

Also this line: "Mercy Eze didn't just have her son, she planted him to heal the world."

Dawson Rental

Please Dexter, don't hurt 'em.
You actually have a degree from Marquette?

Quote from: muguru
No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

Hey man ... hyperbole is the single best thing in the entire world. Nothing is close!
