We've all been burned many times in the past by offseason workout videos and whatnot. But I really feel like there is something special with Dex. And if there is, look out BE, because that back court with Carton is going to be nasty.

How does me noting that a recruit who was ranked #365 by 247, red-shirted and never received any glowing practice reviews is now suddenly being compared to Dwyane Wade make me a boomer?

I think he thought you were referring to the "hip" wording of the article.

And yes, me saying "hip" like that makes it obvious that I'm a Boomer.

As to your point, stuff like that happens fairly often in college basketball. Every year or two, there are a few unheralded players who turn into Ja Morant or Frank Kaminsky or Davante Gardner.
