Weird question:  Does Vegas set lines for these games?

I seem to recall FanDuel or DraftKings on the screen during last game.

Fired up for this one.  Championship MU basketball in JULY...yes please!

good guys at:  -3.5
over/under:  152.5
moneyline:  -167

+450 to win it all when the tourney began.

True, but Greenberg is a buddy of his if I remember correctly.

Buzz doesn’t care about any school he coaches at. It’s all about himself at every step of the way. Which would be a totally valid way to be if he didn’t put on such a false front.

Yep, it’s interesting. For all the flack Crean gets, his former players seem to love him and keep in contact with him. His interactions and relationships with them seem quite genuine.

I don’t get that same vibe with Buzz. Kind of just drops everything from that coaching stop and moves on. Not saying he’s an ass to the guys or that, for example, he and JFB don’t keep in touch, but he doesn’t put the effort into it other coaches do.

Yep. Both O/U and spreads are available. MU is a -5.5 fav. O/U is 149.5

MU has covered in all three games so far. I'm not as confident in the 5.5 but 3-0 rolling with them so far so I'll give the points.

Wait - they're only giving $100,000 to cancer?  I thought they were giving the whole $1 million!  Good, I will no longer feel guilty about rooting for Marquette.
I mean, OK, maybe he's secretly a serial killer who's pulled the wool over our eyes with his good deeds and smooth jumper - Pakuni (on Markus Howard)

They were saying half earlier in the tournament, great cause and effort regardless.

If MU wins, I hope they don’t get pressured to donate. If they do, great and noble, but these aren’t filthy rich NBA ballers who should feel obligated to give up cash they’ve dedicated years to winning. Speaking from experience, forced or guilted charity is the worst

Loved watching the games with no crowd. Being able to hear coaches and players was outstanding.

I enjoyed it as well. Loved the dark curtains with logos positioned around the court to block off seating.

Anyone can donate $100,000 to cancer.  We’re giving $180,000 to Rowsey & Fischer.

I happened to like the VERY slow trigger on the dump button, so you’d get a blatant profanity in the huddle and then 5 seconds of silence as they just laid on it

Crean > Buzz

LETS. GO.

Interesting question. If Crean wanted to come back and Coach at MU, would you take him?

It was interesting re-watching the Elam ending. As they are setting up for the inbounds on the final play, the camera found Joe Chapman and you can hear him twice call for Travis to go down to the corner.

Also, Charlo was on the court and nearly hugging Diener before the shot even went in. :D
If you think for one second that I am comparing the USA to China you have bumped your hard.

I wouldn’t go that far. I don’t think he regrets Indiana at all. He didn’t have a FF or Natty, but he coached #1 teams there. And not many coaches can say they coached at a legendary program. I do bet he wishes he could have come back after

It could've been blowing smoke, but his speech at the 100th dinner seemed pretty clear that he didn't realize how good he had it here until he left. While I think just about anyone in his position would take Indiana, he's realized in retrospect the no-brainer decision isn't always the right one.

You're probably right. I never thought badly of him for going to IU but I did for the way he did it. Heck, as an MU alum I think I would have taken the IU job.

I'm just guessing that he may have enjoyed his time at MU the most.

If MU wins, what they should do is encourage all of their fans to donate to Sideline Cancer's cause, including providing links on social media.

Per ESPN's preview of the game, if Sideline Cancer had won, they were going to donate $100k here - https://griffithfamilyfoundation.org/sideline-cancer
