Players on the roster so far include: Buycks, Jamil Wilson, Derrick Wilson, Mo Acker, Fischer with non Marquette guys Jarvis Williams and Elgin Cook returning.

I know Luke wanted to play last year but he has surgery and was unable to join. Will be interesting to see if anyone else is added. TBT likes to hide big player announcements. Diener is the one that I'm waiting on but he could always decide it was a crazy spring with Italy and decide to stay home.

Matt Heldt or bust

DJO must've come to his senses after last year.
Retire Terry Rand's jersey!

Buycks, DJO, Cook, Jamil, and Fish is a pretty badass starting lineup.

Not even considering Rowsey coming off the bench for some scoring.

I thought Vander and Duane Wilson were supposed to play this year?

What's Henry doing? Last I knew he was on the knicks who clearly aren't going to make whatever playoffs the NBA is having

Can't imagine Henry would be interested in being a part of an MU affiliated team.

You're right about Duane and Vander IIRC

I don't think Henry has any ill will regarding MU teams. He has tweeted support for MU BB team.

I can't imagine a guy who just retired after making $200M in salary alone (and who knows how much more in endorsements) and has made appearances on a number of TV shows as an analyst, including the NBA on TNT, would have any interest in quarantining himself for weeks to play for a chance at like $100K.

If he does it, it will be for love of the game. I would guess he wouldn't even take a salary, or would donate all of the winnings. I mean, Wade could guarantee the entire team the $2M win or lose, so it's not like money would be the motivator.

Plenty of guys who have made a lot more money than Henry come back for the competition. And even though TBT is nothing like the NBA, the competition is still pretty solid.

You're right. I got mixed up after reading posts about Henry and DWade.

Yeah I just don't see any appeal in quarantining myself for multiple weeks, being away from my family, etc. for really nothing more than some pickup basketball.

Everyone gets moved by different things. I feel the same as you, but I've had co-workers that would make more money by retiring but keep coming in because they love what they do and who they work with. I wouldn't begrudge him either way, but it wouldn't be the most shocking thing.

True.  If there were a football version of the TBT, Brett Favre would be the first guy to sign up.
Have some patience, FFS.

Herman Cain

Would be great if Vander could play. He is a winner and this format is perfect for his slashing and get to the line style of play.

Novak, diener and Wade reunite?

Throw in Jackson and Merritt for good measure.

WarriorFan

What about Davante?  I think he'd be a great 6th man in this kind of format.  Plus, as last year showed, it's good to have high percentage free throw shooters in the game at the end.

Diener, Wade, Blue, Jamil, Buycks would be a winning team in this kind of format.
Vander would have to guard ISO-Joe in the final.
