And here we go.......

I guess this douchenozzle forgot about the terrorists who "rose up" by plotting to kidnap, torture and kill the Michigan governor -- an act that led the emperor to bravely criticize the intended victim.

and you would win that bet.

Out here in Oregon, we have suburban politicians telling our governor to go to hell regarding the restrictions.  I'm just hoping that as the weather gets worse people will stay inside.

Some serious foreshadowing on pages 3 and 4 of this thread.

Continuing on pages 10-12.

Man I'm not going back to read 4 pages of this thread, what are you saying?

Edit: Oh, probably the MI governor kidnapping attempt stuff. nvm.

Edit2: I think we should call this type of vagueposting, "vaguepoliticking"

Skate, to be specific... When the armed protestors forced their way in to the capitol.    And the  kidnapping it on Whitmer.   Events in Michigan foreshadowed those in DC.   Hopefully, that isn't too vague for you.

I think you may be being too hard on the white nationalist fascists here. They just want an ethnostate they can be proud of not wearing masks in.

There may be a way to resolve this. Give the fascists the U.P., and then they can build their wall and get Wisconsin to pay for it.

Ron Johnson would demand that it be expand to everything except south East wi, and even then might still fight for Waukesha.

Michigan seeing a surge in cases.   My department also.   Rumor has it that we have a firefighter with both shots on board who has tested positive and is symptomatic.    Rumor has it the CDC has already called our chief.

It isn't yet time to stop holding on to your hats.

Being a total cynic, has the fire department required proof of vaccination?

Frenns Liquor Depot

I am not in this field, but it strikes me as something that is bound to happen (vaccinated illness) and will be covered more frequently in the coming weeks.  We have a ton of spread and know the vaccine is not 100% effective.

If the anecdote is true, it's comforting that the CDC is investigating and is on top of it in case it is caused by something that is evading vaccine protection.

We get paid for getting the shot off duty if we present our card showing that we have received both.   So I am going to assume they did present proof.

mu_hilltopper

There's no doubt, we'll read about dozens, hundreds of cases of people who have both shots and get COVID, since it's not 100% effective.

That will then generate more people who refuse the vaccine.

Vicious cycle.

Some folks win the lottery too. Much to do about nothing and certainly not worth destroying lives, businesses, and mental health over. Carry on, hey?

Much to do about nothing? Remind us how many have died from the virus, please.

The vaccine takes hospitalization and death off the table. Follow the science. It is real, aina?

Huge surge among unvaccinated young adults.   Hospitalization rates quite high ages 20-40.

With seniors' vaccination rate getting up near 60%, the majority of those hospitalized may soon be younger adults.
