Will MU make the NCAA tournament this year?

Yes
No
Only if Make Big East Tournament

Herman Cain

Given the recent weak performance, will MU still be invited to the NCAA Tournament this year ?

"It was a Great Day until it wasn't"

Yes, they are a lock, stop this stupidity.

5DollarPitcher

I'm abstaining from voting.  But Fox flashing that "tournament resume" graphic for MU with 0.8 seconds left should be plenty to show that there is genuine peril.

Mike Deane's Seat Belt

Why waste a bid on a team that is sliding face first into march.  They are incapable of beating anyone good at this point

RushmoreAcademy

Don't like to say games are must win but the next one seems pretty important....

Cfollow

Nope, they lose out and the NCAA only has to say that the NET ranking is only one of many evaluation tools, which is correct, and they can leave this disaster to the NIT.

RideMyBuycks

Not sure why we need a poll when it's already a lock

BLWarrior91

Yes but they don't deserve it and won't last long the way they're playing.

who cares? do I want to watch this meltdown last for one more game? Not really

No offense Brew, but are you really and truly proud of that?? Really??
"Being realistic is the most common path to mediocrity." Will Smith

We live in a society that rewards mediocrity , I detest mediocrity - David Goggi

I want this quote to serve as a reminder to the vast majority of scoop posters in regards to the MU BB program.

Will anybody care when they do make it?

Shark

At this point I'd almost rather they just stay home.

No, but that's not the poll question

This is a stupid thread.
"Stupid" this, "stupid" that, "idiots", "morons", etc.  Open your eyes man.  Look at the steaming pile of trash on the court that just lost to laughable Depaul.  Fox Sports flashed a "tournament resume" graphic on us tonight.

WAKE UP!

PointWarrior

A) don't care as they suck

b) don't care how many q1 wins they have finishing 1-7!tonend the year they won't get selected

Mike Deane's Seat Belt

Best thing that could happen is mu "gets snubbed" and we see wojo flounder when the media interviews him on selection sunday.   Lets get them coals stoked under his seat once and for all !

Not sure what that has to do with the question at hand. I answered the question. Marquette is in. Period. If you don't believe me, check with another bracketologist:

"Easily still an NCAA Tournament team..."

They are in. No one has to like it, no one has to be happy with 1-4 in the last 5 or be content losing to DePaul (I'm not) but THEY ARE DANCING, IT'S A REALITY. I'm sick of the ignorant posters trying to assert otherwise while knowing nothing about the bubble.

Stop the presses!!!!!  Brewcity has locked down the bubble and has declared that no teams will steal bids and no teams will improve their standing. Talk about ignorant!
Rutgers beat Maryland tonight and Purdue is destroying Iowa in Iowa but do not worry MU fans brewcity has locked the bubble down! I am glad this last two weeks of the season doesn't matter.

National media are in disbelief that people think Marquette might not make the tournament. If you believe this, you are an idiot.

We aren't on the bubble. We aren't close to the bubble. We aren't one of the programs sweating if ETSU or San Diego State gets knocked out of their tournament.

Honestly, tonight is one of those nights where I take a big step closer to the "this might not be the guy" wagon, but that is wholly disconnected from whether we will be in the tournament. We will be in. There aren't enough bid thieves to keep us out.

Yep. We are in.

Totally different question than whether we will win, whether fans will care, or whether Wojo should go.

mileskishnish72

Yes, but we are heading toward an 8-9 matchup, and of course the winner plays a  1 seed.
Not to worry - it's highly unlikely that this team could win an 8-9 game.

Johnny B

Lose out grab the 11 seed. Way better

The question is - does a win in the 8/9 game against an equally mediocre program followed by a curb stomping at the hands of a Dayton bring back the Projos?

I think it does.  That's the sad part.

Win the BET or make a sweet 16 run and I'll stay on the wagon. Win against SJU, one game in the BET and an NCAA game and I could probably be talked into keeping him.

I was mostly fine with an NCAA bid if it came with a 20 win, 10-8 conference season, but tonight was inexcusable.
