At the end of this 4 minute post game interview, John Fanta asks Wojo if he has any dinner recs for Ed Cooley and Providence the next few days.

Wojo says stay up all night, take the team to Real Chili at 3am.

What a wonderful video. Koby =First Class. Anything John  Fanta is always must watch. Throw in some Ed Cooley reference , Real Chili and Wojo with some dry humor nothing better.

Tossed 2x, but never banned. Guess the fear of losing that greasy red goodness sobered me up just enough.

Fanta's got great rapport with a lot of coaches and players in the Big East. The trio of Fanta, Cayleigh Griffin and Kim Adams, who all worked for the Big East digital network as essentially interns are all really talented and have done well. Fanta had to win me over, but ultimately he's a versatile broadcaster and good at getting past cliches with his interview subjects. He does a great job and is just a couple years out of school. I've enjoyed watching them in these early stages of their career. Great finds by the Big East digital network a few years back.

I was inside RC once when a group that got tossed out came back with a water balloon launcher.  It was the RC equivalent of the D-Day beach scene in Saving Private Ryan.

That's why RC has two doors that do not line up now...

Fanta tweeted a quick interview with Markus today. Questions from fans.  Last question was about the "hot cookies at Cobeen". Only Markus could answer that with sweetness and sincerity.

John Fanta a sports broadcaster, with Fox Sports and Big East Conference. (He is from Cleveland, die hard Cleveland sports fan). He went to Seton Hall. He's done a lot for the Big East Digital Sports Network, as well as online video stuff, interviews, play by play etc...wide variety of Big East Sports the past 5 years.

He now does play by play for Big East women's hoops on Fox Sports. He does many post game interviews with Big East Men's coaches. He is a walking talking poster for Big East Sports. I've seen him go absolutely wild with joy in in the driving rain at Big East soccer games when something good happens. You name it. He can be a bit excited and over the top at times, but it's sincere, and decently balanced.

He started while in undergrad in college. He is respected because he works hard, asks good questions, is respectful, and is genuinely enthusiastic and positive with the various players, coaches, teams. He's not afraid to give an opinion but he can still frame his critiques in a positive way similar to another former Seton Hall guy, Bill Raftery. Oh, and he likes good local food recs.

As for "MN" the only MN I know is the abbreviation for the state of Minnesota.

I'll probably get lit up for admitting this but I never had Real Chili in my life. Just not a huge chili fan.

I've been in Real Chili countless times. Just never partook.

You know who they oughta tap is Brad Galli.  I mean the Detroit sports scene is sooo very bad they he might bite.

John Fanta will someday be a national treasure.  For now, he is our BE treasure.

He is evidence of what hard work and passion can accomplish.  Dude loves what he does and works it.  Reminds me of MU's own  Jenny Fischer.

Thanks, I finally know who John Fanta is although I have never heard or seen him (to my knowledge)

Had Real Chili several times at Marquette. Never saw what the big deal was.

It's beans and a whole lot of grease. Flavor is there if and only if you had noodles and/or crackers. Otherwise, it's like eating sludge from a rendering plant.
