Sorry, you said MAY have amniotic band syndrome. My brother's daughter had amniotic band syndrome. It showed on the ultrasound sound at 12 weeks. She was born with webbed feet which were surgically repaired.

Ditto for me.   Never been happier to be wrong.  It's a damn good thing we shot 55% in the first half.  That 8+ min scoring drought in the 2nd was painful.  Result could have been much different were it not for the 18 point cushion we had going into the half.  Still pretty worried about this team's relative inability to score in the paint which will continue to be a problem in games when are shots aren't falling at the % age we're accustomed to.

Marquette is not going to beat Villanova on Saturday.  Even if we won tonight at Creighton we'd still lose to Nova on Saturday. They are coming in to form and they have a lot more talent then we do.

Actually, they looked so bad against Creighton I thought there's no way they'd turn it around before Saturday. Plus, they also got destroyed by Maryland earlier, so a team with talent, although young, like Villanova, made me very nervous going in to the game.

Our conference is a bitch if you have a bubble team. A very good team would this conference with 3-4 losses. This year it looks to me that there are a lot of 6-8 seeds in our conference. I am not sure a bunch teams at roughly .500% makes it a bitch over the long haul, but definitely entertaining.

Goose, looking around college basketball, there are no super teams.  This could be a year where a 6 seed gets hot and wins the whole thing.

I think this is correct.  I'd also note, Duke is maybe the one elite team this year.  Some will call it parity, but it's closer to mediocrity.  If you look at KenPom's top offensive and defensive teams, outside Duke and Kansas, each of those teams are pretty meh on the other side of the ball.  That can change between now and March, but the landscape in college basketball at the moment is a lot of meh

We say this every year. No dominant team in college basketball, college hoops is down, etc.

I specifically remember the "no dominant/great team" argument the last two seasons. Nova two years ago and UVA last year were pretty great/dominant teams in my book.

Lot of basketball left to be played this year.
