Watching Hacks on HBO. Jean Smart is fabulous as a Joan Rivers-esque older comedian who is trying to stay relevant. And relative unknown Hannah Einbinder is great as a young writer who is forced to work for Smart's character as she tries to rebuild her reputation after a disastrous tweet.

I had never heard of Einbinder, so naturally I googled her to find out that 1. She is Laraine Newman's daughter; and 2. She was Colbert's last pre-COVID standup comedian guest.

I was sold on it when they exchanged jokes by the cars at the end of the first episode

“He’s been in the closet so long, his wife tried to donate him to Goodwill”...I started choking I was laughing so hard.  It’s a really witty and clever show.  Very pleasantly surprised

First Season was phenomenal.

Got progressively worse as the series went on.

Still on season 1.

Ted Lasso S2 will begin July 23. Apparently three episodes will be released that day and then there will be a new episode every Friday for the next nine weeks. I'm looking forward to it.

We're watching Underground Railroad on Prime and saw an ad for Bosch. We had no idea there was another season, but are quite pleased. Will start watching it tomorrow!

I was surprised as well. I thought they kinda wrapped it up last year.

I'm Summer, obvs.

Also, the kid that played the drummer died about a month ago.  Struck by a car while biking.

I'm watching Below Deck Mediterranean. It's awful. I'm enjoying it immensely. Sometimes I just need a dose of lowbrow.

Outstanding show.

It amazes me how Billions gets completely ignored come awards season. I think it's because they don't have a category for Asia Kate Dillon.

Succession Season 3 trailer dropped. If you're at work or around kids, be warned there's a bunch of F bombs in the trailer.

Good to hear. That's on my list.

That was a genre I pretty much dismissed in my younger days - I was a rocker. I listen now and realize I ignored a lot of good music.
