They are cleary playing better over the last 18 games. Before.that, they were horrible. 2-3 in Q3 games

Every game matters.  Its not a metric designed to rank teams as they stand today.  Its a metric built to measure the overall body of work of a team over the course of the entire season.

Agree. When it didn't matter much, they sucked and we were good. Now that it matters most, they're good and we suck. If you count November and December as much as February and March the numbers say we're better. Of course they, we and everybody else knows that's ridiculous.

I basically agree that is how the NCAA should do it.  Tournament should be a reward for the season's body of work.  I would much rather play us than Providence, though.  Otherwise, the rankings make sense.
