Thanks for the info. I guess the flag wasn't red, after all.

Yes I wasn't concerned about her missing one game but am glad to see her back.  She didn't start but had played plenty in the first half - figure she didn't start because of time she missed at practice/the butler game.

Bediako is back after being out the last two games.

Jordan M is listed as out on the availability report and I don't see her on the bench so maybe she is sick.

And thank goodness this game is so much better than the last game I was at when they started out down 19-0.  At halftime they are only 5 points away from what they scored all game against Georgetown.

Oh so wow the first half gave me a false sense of hope.  The second half got so incredibly ugly and I'm really not sure how Marquette pulled this one out.  And this is the third game in a row that I think they were very lucky to win.

Way too many turnovers for Marquette - they had 24 turnovers and DePaul scored 23 points off MU turnovers.  DePaul took much better care of the ball with only 6 turnovers in the game.  Marquette really struggled even getting the ball in and over half court a lot in the second half.

Jaidynn Mason had a nice offensive game going 7-8 from the field and had 7 assists but she struggled a lot taking care of the ball with 9 turnovers.  She did hit two very key free throws at the end of the game though.

They next go to Georgetown and can hopefully have some offense show up for that game there and avenge their awful loss to them at home when they started out down 19-0.

And wow is the BE in Women's Basketball wildly inconsistent outside of UCONN.  UCONN is guaranteed to win by blowout in all their conference games but it's really hard to tell who is going to win any of the other games.  St. John's beat Villanova on Saturday (Villanova is the only other BE team projected to go dancing besides UCONN) after losing to them 85-48 in Philly in December.  But then in their next game out tonight at Creighton they lost by 30 and Creighton just lost to DePaul who is last in the BE at 2-10.

And it's crazy to me to see DePaul at the bottom of the conference after they were good for so long and to even see Xavier ahead of them with 3 conference wins.  Xavier had at least two seasons I think where they won no conference games at all - they've been the cellar dweller for awhile.

That is quite the turn of events, as you pointed out, they were so good for so long..
