The end of the decade
« on: July 24, 2019, 10:41:58 AM »
In just a few short months this decade will be behind us.
What have you loved the most?
What have you hated the most?
What has been the most influential technology? What was your favorite decade?
What do you see as the biggest thing in the next decade?

For me I've loved growing up. From becoming a stupid teenager paintballing houses, to a guy who actually contributes to society. Learning new things, going on exciting adventures, this decade has definitely been the most growing of the three I've been alive for.

I've hated seeing the amount of negatively and hate from a large number of people my age. I witnessed the other day people talking about how the world was going to end, there was nothing we could do about it, nothing matters, social media is awful (in between posting pics on IG of course) etc. So much negative that I wanted to pull my hair out.

The advent of the smart phone has definitely been the most influential technology. Once my teacher in 4th grade told me we couldn't use calculators because we didn't wouldn't be carrying them around in our pockets in real life. Well Mrs. M, you were way off. I have access to the world's entire library at any given moment. It's an amazing feat.

What I see coming in the 2020's is the takeover of driverless and electric cars. I believe it'll takeover faster then most people think. Much like the smartphones did in this decade.
