Sounds like the boys received red carpet treatment from Bucky today.
Yay!!!!!

Who gives a f#ck??

I've got kids and bills to pay.  In the grand scheme of things this rates a zero.  It's sportsball.

Totally moved on.  Bummed to a degree about Sam, less so with Joey....could become something special, but don't know.  Wish them well, hope we kick their ass when they come as Badgers.

They should just sign now and be done with it.  Brad can fondle JH and make up for the nut punch earlier this year.

I have to admit I have been surprised at the continued quantity of posts and threads about the Hauser brothers and Wojo.  They in some ways remind me when Crean and Buzz left.  I believe there are/were some serious abandonment issues triggered for some.

For me, I was shocked and disappointed for a few days. But ever since it has been about who else is coming in next year, 2020 recruiting, etc..Will Bailey take a big step forward? Can McEwen create and distribute besides score? I don't wish any ill will to the Hauser brothers. But, I am uninterested in their next step and indifferent to them now.  I appreciate their 1 and 3 year efforts while at MU. I am disappointed they left and when they left. Some day more specifics will come out. I will be curious to that as it can always be valuable learning material, but, I am a Marquette grad and a Marquette fan.  Wojo? It's pretty simple. He needs to produce an NCAA 2nd weekend very soon. It seems pretty simple and straightforward.  I don't really have the Hauser/Wojo enthusiasm that some others do here.

That's absolutely stunning to hear.  I fully expected they would have just sent them on a standard campus tour by a sophomore ag science major from Rhinelander, including the coupon for a free ice cream cone at the Union.

So, they showed them how slow play is the "right" way?

How frigging embarrassing will it be to be teammates and "brothers" with a guy that punched your nuts and grabbed your wiener? Seriously.

I just noticed a Bucky grad works across the street from me.  I see the red W sticker on the car window.  I made sure he saw my Marquette car signage when I passed him in the highway the other day.

I was shocked and a little disappointed, but never upset. Quickly moved to acceptance and excitement for next year.

First, this is the beautiful thing about college ball. Kids leave. Whether it is to go pro early, or to transfer, or simply because of eligibility, kids leave. College basketball is a game of reloading.

Second, I think the Hauser kids are very good players. But I was not as high on the team as most were. I thought top 10 rankings were just fluff, and I realistically had MU at 10-15, again. We lack the top level talent. That said, now that they've gone, I still expect us at 15-20. We have a new team and it is talented as well. When there are openings, there is opportunity.

Third, and piggy backing on one and two, I am excited to see who steps up. I'm excited to see who gets to show their stuff now that there is an opening. I'm hopeful for growth from Jamal Cain. I really think he can be impactful if he gains confidence. Excited to see Greg and Koby too. There are a lot of reasons for excitement.

Fourth, none of us know whether we will be better or worse or the same. The expectation for Wojo is growth. So, he needs to show "better." Is it possible despite the fact that I agree with many that Sam was our best player and we lost him? Yes. Michigan State this year had a great year. DESPITE losing a couple key players to injury and DESPITE being decidedly less talented across the board than in the previous few years. But this MSU team was hungry and full of dogs with a great leader and college ball player in Cassius. Sometimes the old sayings, "addition by subtraction," and "the whole is better than the sum of its parts" ring true. Here's to hoping Wojo can pull this out. I'm cheering for him and hope for his success, even if I have had a few years of doubt about his abilities.

Fifth, Arby's.

That's now known as a "Madison Hello".
Have some patience, FFS.

Hopefully you gave him some additional #1 signage with your middle finger

I only care about the product on the floor. Winning cures everything. Rebuilding is over. Step it up Wojo.

I'm at acceptance, but admit the fact that I learned from a friend in Montana with no connection to MU who casually texted, "what did you do to tick the Hausers off?" did leave me in shock and disbelief initially :-)

Kinda reminds me of how I learned that TC went to I4.

We took the kids to London for spring break and were at Heathrow for our return flight. I was wearing MU gear, and an IU fan walked up to me and said "so I hear we got your coach." I had no idea what he was talking about, so he explained. I didn't see anything in writing and given that it was April 1, I wasn't totally sure what to believe. Needless to say, it was quite the flight home.

On the plus side, we got upgraded to Biz class!
