Box score:

Though only an exhibition, some interesting, encouraging stuff in there.

I see Markus is designated as (C), presumably for "cancer".

Made me chuckle.

Encouraging = Cain, Bailey, Jayce.

Not encouraging = Koby, Markus (6 turnovers, 5 points?)

Agree with this. However using a Euro ball might've screwed with Markus's shot? sortve difficult to say without the watching the whole match

It's one exhibition, and Howard also had 7 assists. Something tells be he'll be okay come November.

Agreed. Not too concerned about Markus, not too excited about Cain or Jayce.

Yep, remember when Markus was on triple double watch against UMBC finishing with 15, 8, and 7, and all people cared about was his 2-12 from three?

The most important stat IMO was that Theo, Ed, and JJ combined for 55 minutes and only 6 fouls.  Obviously consider the level of competition, but it tells me that they can play together and play without fouling.

Maybe an offseason of being called a cancer has taken a toll on his shooting

I would put Markus as encouraging. He only took 8 shots.

MU trailed 26-14 at the end of the first, but started the second with a 6-0 run to get back into it and tied the game at 35 on a Howard to Morrow layup.

Not as much streamed content today as yesterday. Based on highlights and the start of the game, Markus is looking good driving. He did have one turnover in the 5 minutes they streamed on Twitter.

Exactly. Cool experience for the guys but they’re basically playing Savannah St. Every day. I’m guessing the main reason to do this is for extended coaching time.

Is that even a regulation floor?  Looks like a high school gym.

In addition to Markus & Sacar, Morrow's 6 pts/3 reb/2 steals is nice.

Morrow has looked dominant on the offensive glass in a few highlights posted, including this one hand putback jam:

Howard with 26 and MU leads 72-62.

Nobody knows..... ..that's why you don't put much emphasis on the results good or bad.

Here is the box.......tough day for Jamal.....and Jayce.

Jayce had 6 rebounds and team was +9 during his 15 minutes on the floor, so maybe not that tough even though he didn't score. -12 with Cain, though.

Just looking at the box, several players had very solid games, led by Markus with 28-8-7 despite still being a cancer.

Having said all that ...

These trips are about team bonding, and the coaches getting to work extra with the guys in a competitive situation. Glad our Warriors are there getting in their work.

Seems safe to say Cain isn’t ever going to turn the corner. Great kid but he really hasn’t developed in any meaningful way
