Their dream definitely was not to watch Howard shoot 50 times a game.

This has the ring of truth to me.

Calling Virginia right now. Will take beer bets with anyone

Is the Virginia speculation coming from anywhere specific?  Just wondering.

JFC. If that happens just seriously fire Wojo today.
Who cares where they go.

I get why they left. The offense was running through Howard and he has not shown to be a capable distributor to date. These guys have NBA aspirations, they need exposure, and they were not getting it through Howard.

That being said, I LOVE Howard and am very much looking forward to how he jives with this offense next year with Koby hopefully running the point mostly.

Frankly, I would rather have this happen now then continued brewing discontent that obviously sidetracked this team down the stretch last year. I still think we're a top 25 team.

At this point, I would not be surprised that Wojo does not survive this in the very near future.

Perhaps.

Counterpoint: Wojo gets a mulligan for next year and even moderate success is considered a huge accomplishment by the administration.

No inside info, just presenting an alternative possibility.   We will see what happens.

The boys are going home to Madison, I'm hearing.

Home?  It's a half hour closer to Stevens Point to Madison than it is to Milwaukee.

If the BOT had any balls they would have kicked Wojo to the curb after losing to Murray St. For me, its not about losing the Hausers, but rather the fooked up mess this program is in with Wojo.
BTW, y'all should not belittle those on this board who bring inside info just because you don't want to believe it. There is/was between the Hausers and Howard.

For sure. Sam does/did  not want to stand around waving his arms while Markus takes shot after shot. No suprise this comes shortly after Markus decides to come back. What a frigging mess. I hope more don't follow.

Harry Froling’s Twitter right now is interesting...

Wojo could be gone by the end of the week if you think there’s any truth to what he’s tweeting.

Harry transfered from SMU then bolted to australia.

His brother bolted from Creighton back to australia.

Maybe they should just get better at basketball

Didn’t realize his brother left as well. Yea, probably not much in that one then.

But Joey had a disappointing year (in his eyes, at least), and sees his draft prospects dimming if things play out for him similarly next year.

But why?  This is arguably Joey's team after next year......

Yeah he definitely does but the things he’s referring to can’t be ignored and apparently have been to this point

What do u think this means for the program

Terrible for both the short and long-term.

Watching a guy like Sam Hauser walk out the door prior to his senior season, should make any recruit think twice about Wojo. A three-year starter, a guy who played thru a nasty hip injury, a cornerstone recruit, got his high touted brother to join him, now gone. You can't spin this. This is bad for the program, even worse for Wojo.

I have no inside knowledge and I'm not saying everything is perfect with MUBB, but you are putting wayyyy too much stock in a tweet from Harry f'in Froling.

That’s why it doesn’t make sense though. What happened between last year and this year where Sam and Wojo convince Joey and the rest of the Hauser family to use his redshirt to transferring?

Like someone said earlier I think it’s a Joey issue rather then a Sam issue with probably some interference with David Hauser.
