Bob Seger - Hollywood Nights added!

This is killing my Friday productivity... no one tell my boss!

Don't leave out Hocus Pocus!  It's also the background music to the best sporting goods commercial ever:

But I will tell you that on more than one occasion, Vegas valets have parked her out front flanked by $100k 'quarter panel protecting' street rods.  'This baby is vintage Mr. G.  How can a 20 year old car be in this good condition?'  Dead serious.  Crazy, I know.

(No, I didn't give em $20 tips to do so!!!   :)

I drive a '14 Mustang convertible with a CD player.  Every Tuesday afternoon I rent CDs from the public library.  Currently I have VH's Diver Down, the Best of Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band, and Kiss' Destroyer.  Each is fantastic for driving.

I did add it, but I have to admit that it goes on kind of long with the same repetitive chords for my taste.

After spending too much time this morning on this, I realize that I'm going to have to mix in more than classic rock.   I need more genre's to mix in.   I'm not saying we need some electronica or whatever ( I'm picturing the scene in Super Troopers when they pull over the Porsche), but definitely gotta have some change of pace.

I'm thinking maybe some Outkast, some might say Beastie Boys - No Sleep Till Brooklyn... too bad I hate the Beastie Boys.

OK fine, maybe even something wacky like "Happy hardcore."   If you don't know what that is... er, it's probably not your thing.  Don't judge.    ;D

What about the accordion solos?  The whistling in what sounds like a bathroom?  The flute solo that would put Ian Anderson to shame?

Had a customer trade in a base, white Mustang convertible.  I added two-tone leather interior and Shelby stripes.  It's only the V6, and has absolutely no options, but looks better than a pair of tits.  When I drop my 6 year-old off at school he feels like a rock star.

When it comes down to start making out, whenever possible, put on side one of Led Zeppelin IV.

Try some Greta Van Fleet.

you missed the Fast Times at Ridgemont High joke.

I really, really want to like Greta Van Fleet.  Zep clone or not.  I really want to like them.  There are no new rock bands that play that type of music.  But I'm just struggling to like them.  And I'm mad at myself because I should like them.

I understand what you’re saying. I think they are a couple years away from being (real) good.

You realize you provided ammunition for all of the soccer haters in that in this extended length commercial showcasing the world's best players in action...not one goal is scored.

Except that this commercial is way more exciting than any real soccer match.

Joshua Tree is the greatest album ever. And anything that Robbie Robertson has done solo - they are all great.

All AC/DC works while driving.

Bono is a douche.  The Irish dudes I partied with in NYC for the BEAST tourney agree 100%

Anyone that hasn't driven a Miata may be surprised once they actually drive one.  Nimble, quick, and just plain fun.  I don't own one, but they're a ton of fun... and they don't break the budget.

Quick and nimble are the right words.  They don't have big HP so it's never a 'beat anyone off the line'.  They also corner on a dime and are surprisingly smooth and glued to the road at 85.  But don't get anywhere near one flake of snow!

I've done 750-900 mile days in ours numerous times.  Hard to believe given the size.

Give Kaleo a go.  They're not Zep, but they're good fun rock.

I always considered him a pompous a$$, but we’re just quibbling.

On the other hand, he has worked ( and spent tens of millions) for the betterment of mankind.

The 2019 has 181 hp.  Just saying...

You are right.

Go with "Poke Salad Annie"

By ZZ Top?

As a hit written and performed by Tony Joe White it was an awesome song. Fat Vegas Elvis did a bad cover, but the song belonged to TJW.

Garbage...Push It

Works well with performance cars....It used to be the main track for Gran Turismo on PlayStation lol.
Zenyatta has a lot....a lot... of ground to make up. She gets there from here she’d be a super horse......what’s this.....Zenyatta hooked to the grandstand side....Zenyatta flying on the outside....this....is...un-belieeeeeevable!...looked impossible at the top of the stretch...
