I'm in the "Theo doesn't need a nickname" camp. But here are several more terrible options anyway:

Theo "The Blockinator" John
Theo "Huh-Uh" John
Theo "Defense Is My Middle Name" John
Theo "No Points For You" John
Theo "Block Power" John
Theo "You're Really Not Going To Like This" John
Theo "Irresistible Force" John
Theo "Immovable Object" John
Theo "Bad Man" John
Theo "Get Used To Disappointment" John
Theo "Shock & Awe" John
Theo "Be Very, Very Afraid" John
Theo "Lane Closed Ahead" John
Theo "Block Party" John
Theo "These Are Not The Points You're Looking For" John
Theo "The Pentagon" John
Theo "I Categorically Reject That Assertion" John
Theo "Nightmares Are Real" John
Theo "Ted D" John
Theo "That Is Unacceptable" John
Theo "Access Denied" John
Theo "Fear Most Certainly Does Exist In This Dojo" John
Theo "The Last Line Of Defense" John
"Let's get a green drink!" Famous last words

Doesn't need a nickname. "Theo" is good enough.

He's not gonna get confused with any other Theo.

This, less is more.  Just Theo.  When you get to a certain level all you need to hear is one name and that says it all.

However, I am not a nickname guy, I think the vast majority of them are too gimmicky and only used to amuse people who think they are really creative, but are not.  Of course there are exceptions, but in general they mostly all are bad.

I mean, OK, maybe he's secretly a serial killer who's pulled the wool over our eyes with his good deeds and smooth jumper - Pakuni (on Markus Howard)

You're trying to hard.

On a different note, this is by far Theo's best hairstyle at Marquette.

Lots of nicknames get recycled.    Is TFJ appropriate?    I suggested Leroy Brown earlier, cuz Theo is the baddest man in the whole damn town.    But TFJ is easier.

Badder than old King Kong?  Check
Meaner than a junk yard dog?  Check

I'm in your corner Tower.

45 year old Jim Croce reference. It had not occurred to me, but I can see chick's point though.    So, withdrawn.

I was unaware of that connection.   Wasn't sure if Chick was being serious or sarcastic.  Given that she was being serious , I will also withdraw my support.

If we're going with an oldie for his theme song, probably better to use something from this guy:

I've called him "the undertaker" ever since I saw this yrs team poster (which is awesome btw) but I'm fine w Tarzan if that's what his team nickname is. The duke guys call Zion "Zanos"and that's pretty solid

I was serious, but not because I personally would consider it racist. I am just not sure everyone else would take it in the spirit in which it was intended.

Think about it:  It's a first name that is a stereotype, a last name that is a skin tone, and the comparisons are to a dog and an ape.

It's an outrage disaster waiting to happen.
Have some patience, FFS.

Stephen Howard, the former BlueDemon doing analyst for FS1 last night tried something with the Wall of Theo, or the Theo Wall.

But I feel that is lacking.   Nerlens Noel was known as the Nerlen Wall.  That provides a vision.  Rudy Gobert, the Frenchman in Utah known as the Stifle Tower.  Even a secondary name of The French Rejection.

Maybe something from the Block of John, or Theo 3:16, Thou shalt not score.  Block/Swat/Denial/Reject 3:16? Tarzan 3:16?  I feel there's something there.  Just have to find the right combo.

I'm waiting for Dickey Simpkins to call the game.  Somebody call security!  Or maybe that's just for steals.

Howard said "The Great Wall of Theo" too long for nickname but only enjoyable comment all night.
